Prioritizing yourself is never easy, but with my support your workload can be lighter.

While nonprofits and for profit organizations have many differences - at the end of the day both are trying to inspire people to take action.

While those actions are being made, those in charge of the organization (like you) are trying to juggle:

  • marketing,

  • budgeting,

  • human resources,

  • your own personal lives,

  • and more

With my experience in both fields, I offer a unique perspective and a range of skills to support your organization. As a thought partner and strategic planner, I can help you navigate complex challenges and develop innovative solutions. I also have a strong track record of implementing systems and processes to streamline operations and achieve your goals.

Sometimes work looks like this, and that’s okay.

My History

After college and a brief stint as an event planner (and also one as a certified paralegal), I moved back to my hometown and took over the reins of managing my family’s bicycle shop. While many might see this as “just working retail”, it was so much more - from budgeting and inventory management, to human resources and project management, to problem solving and marketing — this role challenged me and provided me a way to grow many of my skills.

When running the bike shop alone wasn’t enough of a challenge, I began getting involved in my local political scene, serving time on the downtown development board, the planning commission, and the zoning board - finally being elected to the city commission and becoming both the Vice Mayor and the Mayor.

While I needed to raise money to run for city commission, I really sharpened my teeth through political fundraising. Serving as the chair,  I grew my local political party — out raising the other local parties 10 to 1, and was later identified as a top five candidate for state races in the 2018 election - for my effective and innovative systems for fundraising and volunteer organization.

I love to view a situation with an outside lens to create effective systems to meet strategic goals that can be evaluated and adjusted to ensure they are met. As the development director for a statewide nonprofit during 2020 (after selling the family business), I increased donations 54% and then went on to work as the Operations Manager for a Forbes highlighted Executive Coach and Fundraising Consultant.

I am now working to find more balance in my life taking on select clients while prioritizing my own self care and the needs of my two young daughters.

My Mission

To support your organization so you can spend more time finding balance in your life.
